We know exactly where our commercial waste goes, do you?

For most of us, that answer stops the moment the 'bin lid' closes. Once it's out of sight, it becomes somebody else's problem. We don't see it that way. Managing the environmental footprint of our nationwide projects is a daily responsibility for our teams on the ground, not a box to tick at the end of the year.

That's why we've partnered with Recycling Lives: to build social responsibility directly into how we manage commercial waste. We can now track real-time data on exactly what leaves our sites, and know what it's being turned into. Recycling Lives uses its commercial contracts to fund rehabilitation and community programmes across the UK.

Their 2024/2025 figures show what that looks like in practice:

📈 £42.9m in social value generated
🤝 Only 5% reoffending rate for people completing their prison programmes
🍎 333,800 meals delivered to tackle food poverty
♻️ 97% of material diverted from landfill

It’s important to us to have a supply chain that matches our own values, not just one that meets a spec and with both organisations holding the B Corp certification, we know we are aligned.
