Sinewave Secures Major Battery Storage Project with Gresham House
Sinewave is delighted to announce our appointment to the Monet’s Garden Battery Energy Storage project, delivered in partnership with leading renewable infrastructure investor Gresham House.
Gresham House is an investment institution and a major player in the renewable energy sector. This appointment demonstrates Sinewave’s position as a trusted delivery partner for large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
Sinewave will deliver a full turnkey solution for the major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, encompassing both the off-site grid connection infrastructure and on-site electrical works. A defining feature of the project is the National Grid Tertiary connection, which demonstrates Sinewave’s ability to expertly deliver complex grid connections.
Sinewave’s scope of work includes:
The appointment as Principal Contractor, overseeing site management, welfare, SHEQ and operational activities
Extensive site civils and enabling works
BOP work for full HV/LV systems
Cable design interface with Sungrow PT3 Battery units
33kV and SCADA design and installation to the NGET interface
Firewater containment and attenuation pond installation, including a new water mains connection and drainage system
Commissioning, energisation and handover support
This end-to-end approach showcases Sinewave’s capability in managing complex energy projects from concept through to energisation, ensuring efficiency and continuity across all phases of delivery.
Following an early-stage design phase in 2025, the project is now underway, with operational teams mobilised. Final project completion is on track for 2027.
