Sinewave Awarded 132kV project for Sonnedix’s Gammaton Moor Solar Park

Sinewave is pleased to announce the commencement of the 132kV ICP works for Gammaton Moor Solar Farm on behalf of Sonnedix.

Sonnedix is a leading international renewable energy producer, with over a decade of experience operating renewable energy projects. With a global capacity of over 9GW and a developing pipeline, Sonnedix is focussed on providing green, affordable energy through solar, wind and storage projects all over the world.

As a NERS accredited Independent Connection Provider, Sinewave has been appointed by Sonnedix to carry out the ICP works for Gammaton Moor Solar Farm.

The exciting solar installation, situated in the South West of the UK is set to have an output of 38MW enabling over 13 thousand homes to be powered every year by renewable energy.

With approximately 10 thousand tonnes of carbon emissions saved, this prestigious project is a pivotal step forward towards the UK’s ambition in becoming net zero.

Sinewave will carry out the:

·      Electrical design for the 132kV contestable works, 33kV private and on site G99 substations

·      Civil design for the contestable and private works substation

·      Power system studies; G99, G55, P28, fault level, protection discrimination etc

·      Principle contractor for electrical and civil build of the 132/33kV contestable and private substation

·      33kV customer G99 substations

·      132kV cabling works upto NG primary substation

·      All associated jointing, commissioning and testing works
