Sinewave are contracted by one of the UKs largest chains of supermarkets, covering hundreds of locations nationwide, to carry out an Operations and Maintenance programme for the store’s HV & LV assets.

Our client requested that we replace the LV switchboard and transformer based on the evidence provided by an inspection report, submitted by Sinewave’s engineers. Our scope of work included:

  • Overhanging tree branch removal

  • On site excavation to reveal cables

  • Safe removal of 100L of oil from old transformer

  • Hiab to lift and remove the old transformer and lower the new one.

  • Commissioning of new transformer

  • New cables laid and Earthing installed

  • 1x HV Term & 11x LV Terms complete
